With sadness, we announce the hotel’s closing

Guest & Patrons, It’s with sadness that I need to announce that Hotel Red Bay and 24 Crossroads restaurant will be closing beginning January 1, 2019. I can’t thank you enough for the support and encouragement that Red Bay has shown me during the re-opening and development of the historic Hotel Red Bay over the last three years. I’m forever grateful to the loyal ladies and men who have been dedicated to the hotel and I in their service. They have worked to keep this property beautiful, clean, and developed a warmth that our customers loved. This journey has been the joy of my life next to God and my family. Being able to decorate the hotel and establish the hospitality of this business has been a labor of love for me. I am so blessed to have been able to meet and serve so many guest from around the world here at the little Hotel Red Bay. I will carry those friendships into a lifetime with me. I’m especially thankful to Bob Tiffin and Tiffin’s Allegro Motorhome staff and customers for the loving support they have surrounded us with on a daily basis. I do not know where God will take me next on this journey but I owe it all to his son Jesus who has blessed me with his love and gave me this beautiful opportunity. My prayers continue to be for Hotel Red Bay to bless the people it greets.

Hebrews 13:2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers for thereby some have entertained angels unaware.

Thank you for a terrific Grand Re-Opening!

Hotel Red Bay is now open again for the first time in decades as a hotel, and we cannot thank the community enough for its show of support during our Building Blessing, Ribbon Cutting and Open House ceremonies on Good Friday, April 14, 2017! We have been so anxious to show off our hard work in restoring this grand old hotel building and seeing the excitement and hearing the compliments has certainly made it worth it!

Our grand opening is coming soon!

Ever since work began in earnest on the restoration of Hotel Red Bay, we’ve heard one question many, many times: “When are you going to open?” We don’t grow weary of hearing it, though. We know people are excited about seeing this grand, historic building come to life again and we are anxious for that opening date to arrive, too!

We will be announcing the dates very soon. We’re still putting the finishing touches on the hotel because we want to make sure everything is just right for that first night’s stay for our guests. Watch for news on that event, too.

Thank you for your interest in Hotel Red Bay!
